Painting Vintage suitcases

ok so thru my blog stocking at work yesterday ( yes Im lucky I blog stock all day) anyways thru blog stocking I found this wonderful ladies blog~~~ and I fell madly in love with the painted suitcases!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to run out right then and find the old suitcases, however I restrained myself and waited till this am!!! I must have been in luck( or seen tons of them at goodwill in surprise before) and I picked up two of them!!!!! one for the girls one for the boys!!! WAnna guess the price??????? 4 bucks for both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was stoked!!! there was another one I wanted there for the hubby and I but it was 6 bucks and I didnt want to spend 6 bucks:( ANyways heres a picture of hers)

What have we been up to?? Well summers here in az and we have spent well a lot of time out at box canyon and in gma and gpas pool or and time in the sprinklers!!! Yesterday we planted 6 fruit trees and we went to bed early we were all so exhausted!! Today the kiddoes got to go to work with me( no I don't work full time I cover one day for my mom during the summer) I snapped a pic of them eating an early lunch before nap time! Oh how I love them!

Yarn lovey!

I love yarn, I love all the different colors it comes in, and I love my huge collection of it!! A dear lady I know in town had a ton of yarn she didn't want, and one day after seeing my princess peas hat asked if I would love to go through it and get what I want out of it!! I said sure how much are you asking per roll? Lady: oh you can just have all you want!
Me: omg that is so amazing thank you!!!
Lady: oh and I have fabric you can go through also
Me: I'm in heaven!
Anyways these are two of the huge spools of yarns I picked out they are so bright and pretty and princess pea is madly in love with anything bright and beautiful ( kinda like her momma) so hopefully buy the end of the day or tomarrow my project will be done and you can see!!!!

the flu....................

yes that has been going around our house (a town ) for the last few weeks!!! I hate being sick, I hate puking, hate stomach aches hate it all! and everyone in our family has had it plus quite a few friends.........Ugh we are finally recooping from it thank goodness!! back to normal posting soon...........I hope!

memorial weekend fun!!!!

So for memorial wknd we spent the day out at box canyon, our lil not so secret anymore town hang out!!!

We had a ton of fun with a few friends and there kids!!!

poor char chars head got burnt!!! However the kids had a ton of fun riding the dirtbikes and taking rides in the ranger!!!!!!!

Suppah momma says it the best, Why bother spewing verbal vomit when you can sum it all up in one neat little post it note?

I took the back cushion off and applied twine instead ( a buck for a roll of 100 ft at target dollar racks) then redid the cushion in the blue flowered material!! I love it now only 3 more to go!So these chairs were my grandma's, and at first glance I didn't see any potential in them what- so- ever!! Then one my second go around I was enlightened!! How I love them now!

Ok seven things about me huh?!?!?!

1) I have an unhealthy addiction to blog land, whether it be home decor, or crafty blogs I <3 them all!!!!!

2) I start craft projects and take weeks to finish them:( and then forget to post them on here:( :(

3) I love my kids and husband more than life itsself, they are my life, even when they are getting on my last nerve, I hate for them to be farther than the next room from me:)

4) I love shoes!!!! I buy shoes and clothes for that matter whether I need them or not! THis goes for my kids too, whether they need them, if they are uber adorable and decently priced Ill buy them:)

5) I cannot stand to wake up to a messy house(even though most the time I do) I love to stay up really late at night and clean:)

6) I adore cooking, I love trying to make new recipes and make them my own:)

7) I am extremely shy and insecure around people I don't really know, I  studder and talk really fast I know its weird:) blog land is no prob but in real life its another story!

Whippy cake hair tutorials!

After living what I felt was a 'decent' life, my time on earth came to the end. The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting room of what I thought to be a court house.The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat by the defense table.As I looked around I saw the 'prosecutor.'He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me.  He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen.I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney,  kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to me, I felt I knew Him. The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full flowing robes.He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I couldn't take my eyes off Him.As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, 'Let us begin.'The prosecutor rose and said,'My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this man belongs in hell.'He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole, and In the past when I cheated others. Satan told of other horrible Perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the further down in my seat I sank. I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely forgotten about. As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not offering any form of defense at all. I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm I'd done? Satan finished with a fury and said, 'This man belongs in hell, he is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person who can prove otherwise.' When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might approach the bench.  The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan, and beckoned Him to come forward..As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in His full splendor and majesty. I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus Christ representing me, my God and Savior. He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, 'Hi, Dad,' and then He turned to address the court.'Satan was correct in saying that this man had sinned, I won't deny any of these allegations. And, yes, the wages of sin is death, and this man deserves to be punished.'Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with outstretched arms and proclaimed, 'However, I died on the cross so that this person might have eternal life and he has accepted Me as his Savior, so he is Mine.' Jesus continued with, 'His name is written in the Book of Life,  and no one can snatch him from Me.Satan still does not understand yet.  This man is not to be given justice, but rather mercy.'As Jesus sat down, He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said, 'There is nothing else that needs to be done.''I've done it all.'The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down.  The following words bellowed from His lips...'This man is free.  The penalty for him has already been paid in full.  'Case dismissed.'As Jesus led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving, 'I won't give up, I will win the next one.' I asked Jesus as He gave me my instructions where to go next, 'Have you ever lost a case?' Christ lovingly smiled and said,'Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them has received the same verdict as you, ~Paid In Full~. Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend,(As I have done here), will bless you both.'Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!' Thank You God!!!!!!
