Our little Cowboy

This morning little Aj got up and decided he needed to go help daddy work on his new jeep, so 630 in the morning momma gets up and gets him dressed. He has a new fasination with charlees cowboy hat, so momma buts it on and he heads out. He was so adorable I ran back inside and grab my camera.

The Big 5!!

I can't believe it, our little Charlee is %(technically not until the 15th)!We had your party yesterday, you got to spend the entire weekend with grandma before it so we could surprise you!!

We bought you a 3 wheeler bike and some clothes, shoes and bug catcher to catch bugs for your little lizards!
We had spagetti with long noodles which is your favorite!! Momma and Autn sissy also made you a lego cake, plus it finally Rained which was so nice!

Can you believe its already a week shy of being september?? Sadly it's still HOT!!! I can't believe how fast the yr. is going by, such mixed emotions about it. On one hand I can't wait for christmas but then again it means Char-man is going to be 5 in a few weeks, baby Aj is going on two, and Hailee is turning 7 oh my that alone is crazyness!

We were hanging around home the other day, and Aj was actually in the mood to take pictures! Which doesn't happen that often so I pulled out the camera and started snapping away. Thankfully my other two love their picture being takin.

Those kids are so darn cute!!!!!! I have made a commitment to take my camera Everywhere with me like I use to, I looked at old pictures the other day and had at least one picture from everyday!! now I am lucky to have one once a week!! I know one day Im going to look back and wish I had takin more pictures of our little family, so thats my goal.. hope you enjoyed the cuteness!

being a grown up isn't always fun...

Things have been stressful lately. I have been clinging to the truths that I know. Those truths are that God has a  plan, bigger than any plan I could ever possibly fathom, a plan for our finances, a plan for our family, a plan for everything.....THat plan may or may not have me driving, living in and wearing the nicest hippest stuff or it may, those things shouldnt matter the bible says  "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If you love the world, the love of the Father is not in you." 1 John 2:15, sometimes I forget that material things as nice as they are to have don't matter, living for christ and being a Godly example to my children is what is important.

 I think sometimes I get so bogged down in the day to do and the moving on to the next thing, that I forget about the here and now, I forget to slow down, calm down and be present for my husband and my 3 babies. I have this favorite blog that I read all the time, I actually know the girl in person not just from her blog:) but if you know me I don't really talk to people, I have a habit of sticking to myself   (trying to work on that) anyhoo her blog is Live big Love bigger, Go check it out look at her amazing pictures, and drool! She has two of the cutest girls I have ever seen other than my girl, but hey I could be a little bias on that. Back to my point today has been especcially trying and it seems like the minute we think we have things figured out, something else falls apart, today on the above mentioned blog there was a bible verse it read

It doesn't say following Christ gives you all "good" seasons with no trials, it says theres a time for everything the good and the bad and as much as I dislike the bad there are lessons to learn from it...There is a sign hanging in my parents house or my sisters I don't remember which one but it says And this to shall pass, my prayer today is that I remember that...

Our weekend in pictures

I did quiet a bit of sewing this weekend which was fun! Ariel also got to bring her instrument home to show everyone, it was pretty interesting listening to her practicing on it:) We also had my brothers going away party Wednesday. He ships out tomorrow morning for boot camp,we are all super proud of him!  All in all we had a pretty relaxing weekend,lee and I got the chance to go on a quiet day date Sunday (thanks Nicki and Rosie) that was so nice,we went to lunch and then walked around costco( we aren't old or anything) and then went and found miss hailee and the mall with her sister and her mom.
That was our weekend,this next week im hoping to get a few fun projects around the house done! Have a wonderful week!

I have been wanting a bright piece of art work for the house for a while now.  The prices of art is well out of my price range, and I have seen lots of DIY piece, and I had canvas and craft paint and a brush. So if this didn't work out I wasn't out anything :) It was a time consuming project manly because it was all free hand, but I love it!!! Now I just need to find exactly were I want it, my orginal plan was to place it above the fireplace, however we ended up mounting our tv there so now Im thinking of doing a large picture\art wall right at the entry way. Without further ado my project....................

The bottom isn't even but I still love it, perfectly imperfect:)
