slipcovers............

SO I have nice couches but I want white couches!! I would be more than happy with slipcovers! but I want to make a slip cover!!! I saw this beauty!!!

I found it on this blog, the lady has a wonderfully cute house!!!

SO if anyone has any ideas on how to make a slipcover or find a pattern let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!please asap!!:)

what have I been up to.............

painting antiquing and more painting!!!!! I finally braved it and paint my mantel~I have always been scared to do this because well I didnt want to screw it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well its beautiful!!!!

the mantel was a red cherry wood not pretty at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its satin white now with atiqued brown!!! the walls color was on the oops shelf at lowes and i love it!!!! soon as I get new rods and white sheer curtains it will be finished!!!!

REcipe of the week

Fresh Salsa!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO my familia loves fresh salsa, well honestly any kind of salsa! but my fav is fresh!!

8 whole large tomatoes
1 can rotel dice tomatoes and green chilies
cilantro to you tasting
mexican oregano
salt pepper
Half jalopino(spelling?) i like mild!

I love adding creole seasoning and italian seasoning!

basically I use my food processer to blend it all together!
chill then serve!!!
Its really good with the new kettle cooked cracked pepper and sea salt chips!!!

try it and let me know what you think!

Recipe of the week!!!

THis is the cheesecake from earlier posts..........


2 8oz cream cheese
1\2 cup sugar
5 tb spoons vanella
blend together!

crust

1 1\2 packages gram. cracker
1\3 cup melted sugar


crush the gram. crackers and mix with the melted butter! press into pie dish and back at 325 for 10 mins!!!!

let cool before pouring in batter!

If you wanted add fruit to the top! I used slices of strawberrys but you could easily do bue berrys or rasberrys or even apples or bananas.

*** apples with caramel would be delish****

yeppers back on the jag of crocheting.............the other night I was watching a tutorial on youtube for making flowers, this is like the tenth time I have watched this tutorial and finally got it!I was so excited I decided to make a hat to go with the flower!!!! WEll I stayed up until about 1 am finished the hat and attached the flower! the hat is for my friends little girl I am working on making the second one for her other little girl! oh how my knuckle are killing me!!!

The picture isnt the greasted due to crappy blackberry camera but you get the idea!

Seriously considering opening an etsy shop just haven't decided! decisions, decisions!!!!
